During this homeschool series, we are covering the skills that are important to build upon to further scientific investigations.

Ages: 4-7 with parents, 8-12 parent drop off.

January 11^th River of Words: Immerse yourself in your local watershed. Use your senses to understand the importance of water and the surrounding habitat. Express your newfound knowledge through poetry or art. Parents will be encourage to enter the artwork into the River of Words contest from Project Wet.

February 8^th-Junior Duck Stamps: Learn about the local waterfowl at Sandy Creek Nature Center and then create art. Parents are encouraged to enter artwork in to the Junior Duck Stamp competition through Fish and Wildlife Service.

Time: 10 a.m. - Noon

Fee: $4/ACC residents, per class, $6/Non-residents, per class. Preregistration required.
