Lunar New Year Celebration-Family Fun Festival

Saturday, Feb. 17 10-2 p.m., Visitor Center, Conservatory, $2 per person; under 2 is free

Join us to learn more about Chinese culture and Lunar New Year traditions found throughout Asia.  Celebrating with music, food, literature, and art–making, we bring Grace Lin and Yu Hua's children's and adult literature to life.  Making origami friends, learning to use chop sticks, and exploring new vegetables and snacks that we might not see in our regular grocery stores––this Year of the Dog party is not to be missed!  Dragon Making Workshop participants will show off their creativity throughout the festival day along with performances and book giveaways.
