Night Owl Prowl: a Genealogy Lock-In

The smell of old books. The thrill of the hunt. These are just some of what lures
genealogy researchers to the library. Now is your chance to experience them all-- on your schedule! After the Athens-Clarke County Library closes on Friday, Oct. 27, you and your fellow genealogy researchers will have the Heritage Room to yourselves at the library's annual Night Owl Prowl Genealogy Lock-In!
From 6:00 to 11:00 p.m., you'll have after-hours, unfettered access to the Heritage Room's print and digital resources, as well as access to some of the greatest genealogy researchers in Georgia.

New this year, participants can also bring family photos, letters and other mementos to be digitally scanned and preserved! Food, drinks and security will be provided. Registration is required for this event: $10 for COGS
members / $15 for non-members. Registration and payment must be received by Tuesday, October 24. Register online at www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~gacogs/ , or stop by the Heritage Room and register in person.

Night Owl Prowl is co-sponsored by the Clarke-Oconee Genealogical Society and the Library's Heritage Room. For more information, please call the Heritage Room at (706) 613-3650, ext. 350. The Athens-Clarke County Library is located at 2025 Baxter Street, Athens.
