Youth Triathlon Clinic at YWCO

The YWCO will hold a youth triathlon clinic in advance of its Kids Tri the Y (May 31st).  The clinic will be Saturday, May 10 from 3:00 to 4:00PM at the YWCO (562 Research Dr. Athens 30605). USA Triathlon certified Youth and Junior coach, Kim Landrum, will give a course overview, explain how to set up transition, discuss tips and strategies for each leg of the race, and will review race rules and other topics to ensure a safe, fun experience on race day.

Kids should bring their bike, helmet, running shoes, hand towel, race belt (if you have one), glasses, visor/hat, water, and sunscreen. Wear or bring your bathing suit as participants will have an opportunity to test and time the swim distance.
