Celebrate nature, the change of season, and National Yoga Month with this ancient and powerful practice. A Sun Salutation is a series of twelve linked yoga poses. It is said to detoxify, massage and stimulate every organ in the body, plus it calms the mind and connects you with your own breath and soul. The number 108 has a variety of historical, spiritual, scientific and mathematical meanings. One of them being: 1=your singular nature, 0=emptiness of thought, and 8=infinity/endless possibilities. Yoga practitioners all over the world gather to celebrate the autumnal equinox practice, which symbolizes the intent of letting go of what no longer serves our purpose.
Everyone is welcome to practice the 108 or just experience the amazing energy. Please bring a yoga mat, water, towel and friends. Registration recommended but walk-ins are welcome.
