Take your place in the spotlight and audition for Athens Creative Theatre!
ACT is thrilled to be bringing "A Christmas Story" the musical to the stage here in Athens, based on the film is a stage musical adaptation of the popular film buy the same name. Featuring music and lyrics by Pasek & Paul and book by Joseph Robinette. The musical takes place in the 1940s in Indiana and focuses on a child named Ralphie, who wants a Red Ryder BB gun for Christmas. Performances will be November 9-12, 2017 at the historic Morton Theatre in Downtown Athens.
Auditions will be held Monday, August 7 and Tuesday, August 8 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.at Quinn Hall at Memorial Park at 293 Gran Ellen Drive.
Those interested in auditioning must schedule an appointment by calling 706-613-3628 or emaildaniel.self@athenclarkecounty.com. Drop ins are welcomed,but scheduling an audition is recommended.
