Monsters of Mock

This is Monsters of Mock, where wonderful music, great bands and good people get together. These tribute acts play popular hits of the trailblazing bands that created them. Relive the original bands' heyday and recall where you were back then. Or venture into a musical time period unrivaled today. Whether you are a first-timer, or a returning faithful - you are part of the Monsters of Mock nation!

There's a saying, "imitation is the greatest compliment," and with that in mind we will belt out the tunes of Foreigner, AC/DC, Cheap Trick and a number of 80s bands. Complementing this is 97.1 The River's all-day, live beach broadcast. 

On Saturday, June 17  at Sunset Cove will be rocking with following bands* at the times listed below:

2:15 pm - 3:45 pm – Sunset Strip – 80s tribute band
4:30 pm - 6:00 pm – Krotona – Alternative Rock Cover Project
6:45 pm - 8:15 pm – Dream Police – A Tribute to Cheap Trick
9:00 pm - 11:00 pm – Head Games – A Tribute to Foreigner

In addition to the music acts on Sunset Stage, entertainment around Sunset Cove will include stilt walkers, jugglers, face/body painting, hula hoopers and metallic (non-permanent) tattoo artists.
