Atlanta Welcomes 30,000 People To Attend MomoCon 2017
Thirteenth Annual Celebration of Video Games, Animation, Comics and Cosplay
MomoCon 2017, a celebration of pop culture and Atlanta's position as an entertainment industry leader, will draw more than 30,000 attendees to downtown Atlanta Thursday - Sunday, May 25th - 28th.

The four-day event will feature panels, workshops and meet and greets with film, TV and game industry leaders who have worked on projects including Guardians of the Galaxy, The Walking Dead, Disney films, Marvel comics, Overwatch, Call of Duty, Final Fantasy and more.
Local game development companies including Hi-Rez Studios, developer ofSMITE, a game with more than 20 million players, and Blue Mammoth Games, creators of competitive platform fighting game Brawlhalla, which has had more than 5.3 million players, will be present.
MomoCon 2017's lineup of special events includes the return of its Career Expo, and its Georgia Indie Game Award, which honors the work of an up and coming in-state video game developer.
Registration for four-day and single-day badges are available online or can be purchased at the door. People interested in attending for more than one day can save by getting the four-day badge for $70. Single-day badges can also be purchased for $30 on Thursday, May 25, $45 on Friday, May 26, $45 on Saturday, May 27, or $30 on Sunday, May 28.

Founded in 2004 by Jessica Merriman and Chris Stuckey, then students at Georgia Tech, MomoCon has grown from a 700-person on-campus event to the largest gaming event in the Southeast United States for fans of video games, animation, cosplay, comics and tabletop games.
