"Journey through the Stars for Families" at Sandy Creek Nature Center

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will present "Journey through the Stars" planetarium programs this winter at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

Participants will explore the great beyond and explore a different aspect astronomy.  "The Journey of the Milky Way" is scheduled for Saturday, December 17.  The next program, set for Saturday, January 21 is entitled "The Winter Sky."  The final program for the winter is "The New Zodiac" and will take place Saturday, February 18. 

Each program takes place 10-11 AM. The program fee is $2 for an Athens-Clarke County resident and $3 for a non-Athens-Clarke County resident.  Online registration is underway at www.athensclarkecounty.com/leisure by clicking on the "Nature" tab.
