Family Movie Afternoon

Bring the family to Athens-Clarke County Library for a fun-filled movie afternoon, December 27 

With the hustle and bustle of the holiday season nearing an end, the Athens-Clarke County Library invites you and your family for a relaxing afternoon of classic movie fun on Tuesday, Dec. 27.

Enjoy a free screening of a classic musical film from 1945 starring Judy Garland, Margaret O'Brien and Mary Astor. Directed by Vincente Minnelli, this film featured several beloved songs that have become part of the American story.

The fun at the library begins at 2:00 p.m. with some vintage Betty Boop cartoons and a karaoke sing-along and will continue with the screening of the film. Light refreshments will be served, and there will even be a drawing for prizes!
