Rose of Athens Theatre 2016-2017 season continues with the 4th Yuletide Celebration: Community Showcase, a partnership with the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Athens. Performances will be held December 8 at the UUFA at 7:00PM and December 10 at Seney Stovall Chapel at 7:00PM. This season, we've called on our community to help us celebrate the season by providing their own act for the show. Performances will be presented by members of the UU, the North Oconee Titan Thrill Dance Team, the North Oconee Swing Team, Coloratura Music group, the Roaming Roses, and more. Tickets will be $7.00/person. FREE crafts, games, activities and holiday treats will be provided on the lawn of Seney before the show! In addition, holiday and winter characters will be available for fun and photos, including Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, elves, and more. The lawn will open up for FREE holiday fun at 5:30PM. Want even more holiday fun? Add some pizazz with costumed characters at your party or event! Rose of Athens Theatre will have costumed characters for hire, this holiday season. Characters include Elsa and Anna from Frozen, Santa Claus, Mrs. Claus, and other holiday and winter icons like Santa's elves, snowmen, and snowflakes. Coming up in January, AUDITIONS for Charlie & the Chocolate Factory. Auditions will be held January 9 6:00PM-9:00PM by appointment only, with callbacks on January 10Auditionees are asked to prepare one 1-minute monologue.
