ACT Presents 'A Christmas Carol, The Musical'

Athens Creative Theatre (ACT) presents the family favorite "A Christmas Carol: The Musical" at the Morton Theatre.

ACT brings this holiday classic to the stage of the historic Morton Theatre, just in time for the holidays. The story is a familiar one - Ebenezer Scrooge is a prosperous curmudgeon who believes personal wealth is far more valuable than the happiness and comfort of others. With an infuriated "Bah! Humbug!" Scrooge summates his feelings of Christmas tidings and charitable giving, but he's forced to face his selfish ways when three ghosts on Christmas Eve lead him through his Past, Present, & Future. Thanks to their guidance, Scrooge recognizes his faults and greets Christmas morning with a cheerful "Happy Christmas" before spending the day reconnecting and sharing love with those that mean the most to him.

Don't miss this spectacular adaptation of Charles Dickens' most well known story.

The performance takes place at the Morton Theatre in downtown Athens on Thursday, November 3 -Sunday, November 6. Thursday and Friday show at 7:30 p.m., Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. and Sunday at 3:00 p.m.

Tickets are now on sale at the Morton Theatre Box Office, Monday-Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Call 706-613-3771 to reach the box office. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for children, seniors, and students and $10 each for groups of 10 or more.
