Downtown Parade of Lights

Kick off the holiday season in Athens-Clarke County with this special event in Downtown Athens

Please Note, Important Change: This year the route has slightly changed, the parade begins at the corner Hancock Avenue and Pulaski Street at 7 PM. The parade ends in front of City Hall for the traditional tree lighting ceremony, hosted by none other than Santa Claus!

The 2016 Downtown Parade of Lights is set for Thursday, December 1 at 7 PM.
This year's theme is "A Fairytale Christmas."
Entry deadline is Thursday, November 17 by 5 PM.
