Inaugural "ReadyFest" Set for September 17 at Sandy Creek Park
The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department and the ACC Office of Emergency Management will present the inaugural "ReadyFest" on Saturday, September 17 from 10 AM – 3 PM at Sandy Creek Park located at 400 Bob Holman Rd.
This special event is an emergency preparedness festival for area families to learn all they need to know in the event of an emergency. Activities include what items to put in a preparedness kits, emergency vehicle displays, face painting, and games. The public is encouraged to attend and stay and enjoy the park.
The event is free except for the $2 per person park admission fee.
