Journey through the Stars: "Mythbusters: Astronomy"

The Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services will present will "Journey through the Stars" this fall in the planetarium at Sandy Creek Nature Center.

"Mythbusters: Astronomy"  is set for Saturday, October 15.  Attendees will learn about astronomy myths such as "why does the flag wave during the moon landing?  Is Polaris the brightest star in the sky?  Is there life on other planets?" Gain knowledge to make your own judgment about some of these common myths of astronomy.

Each program takes place 10-11 AM.  The program fee is $7 for an Athens-Clarke County family and $10.50 for a non-Athens-Clarke County family.  Online registration is underway.
