Family Fishing at Sandy Creek Nature Center
The Athens-Clarke County Department of Leisure Services will host "Family Fishing," Saturday, April 23 from 2:30 – 4 PM and Friday, May 13 from 6 – 7:30 PM at Sandy Creek Nature Center.
The program is for all ages and takes place at the Claypit Pond. Bait, poles, and tips are provided. The fee is $7 for Athens-Clarke County families and $10.50 for non-county families per program.
Registration is required and is underway online at www.athensclarkecounty.com/leisure by clicking on the "Nature" tab.
Sandy Creek Nature Center, located at 205 Old Commerce Road, is a facility of the ACC Leisure Services Department. For more information on this program and other activities, visit www.athensclarkecounty.com/sandycreeknaturecenter.
