Fluke Zine Workshop

Have you ever heard of a zine? The Athens-Clarke County Library wants to help you create one! Join the Athens-Clarke County Library Teen Department for Zine Workshop with Athens' mini-comic festival, Fluke, on Friday, April 22, at 4:30 p.m.

A zine is a little magazine written by everyday people like you! At the workshop, representatives from Fluke will tell us all about their festival and teach teens how to make their very own zines.

Fluke Mini-Comics Festival has served as a venue for discussion and exchange of ideas related to mini-comics, zines and other independent publications since 2002. This year's festival will be on Saturday, April 23, at the 40 Watt.

Fluke Zine Workshop is open to teens ages 11 to 18. No registration is required. For more information, please call (706) 613-3650, ext. 329 or email Priscilla Lewis at plewis@athenslibrary.org. The Athens-Clarke County Library is located at 2025 Baxter Street, Athens.
