The Leisure Services Department will host a selection of Easter events this month.
East Athens Community Center will host an egg hunt on Saturday, March 26. The event, for ages Kindergarten-5th Grade, begins at 10 AM. Activities include arts and crafts followed by an egg hunt, with participants divided into age groups. The program is free of charge and registration is not required. Lay Park will host two egg hunts. The first is the "Glow in the Dark Easter Egg Hunt"set for Friday, March 25 from 7:30 – 8:30 PM. This special holiday program is for ages 11 – 14. The"Easter Egg-stravaganza Egg Hunt" is planned for Saturday, March 26 at 11 AM for toddlers through 5th grade. Children must bring their own baskets.
