ATLANTA DOGWOOD FESTIVAL FRIDAY FEATURES FAMILY DISCOUNTS, JIMMY BUFFET MUSIC & FIREWORKS   

Celebrate Opening Day April 8 

Because families just want to have fun, the 80^th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival hosts Family Friday, presented by PNC Bank on April 8, welcoming families with special discounts and programming. Opening night of the 80^th annual festival also includes a special performance by Jimmy Buffet cover band AIA on the Coca-Cola Main Stage… Parrot Heads of all ages are welcome, and guests are encouraged to wear their most colorful islandwear. To celebrate the special anniversary, there will be a fireworks display at 8:30 p.m. by the stage!

Family Friday at the Atlanta Dogwood Festival features special family-oriented entertainment, and kids and adults can both have fun with unlimited ride wristband good for all rides and inflatables on Friday only. Visitors will receivediscounts with select food and beverage vendors with the wristband.

Family Friday hours are 2 to 9 p.m.

A limited number of wristbands can be purchased in advance for $10 (at www.dogwood.org), or tickets may be purchased for $15 onsite (at the Charles Allen and 10^th Street entrance booth). Pre-sale tickets can be redeemed for wristbands at the booth located at the Charles Allen and 10^th Street entrance.

Festival hours on Friday are noon to 11 p.m.

(Artist Market closes at 7 p.m.)

(Family Friday wristbands are good from 2 to 9 p.m.)

The 80^th Annual Atlanta Dogwood Festival takes place in Piedmont Park in Midtown

The city's longest-running festival, the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to providing the annual springtime celebration of arts and entertainment.
