The 1919's Mint Jubilee - A Derby Day Event

For the fourth year in a row, The 1919, the young professionals of the Athens Regional Foundation are hosting The Mint Jubilee--A Derby Day Event on May 7^th. Just what one could expect from a derby day event, we'll have live bluegrass music, a televised feed of the Kentucky Derby, southern fare, mint juleps, a hat & bowtie contest, and lawn games. The event is held on the grounds of Oconee Springs Farm, the private home of Matt & John Dixon, located just outside of Athens, Georgia. 

This festive party with over 300 in attendance benefits women's & children's services Athens Regional Medical Center, specifically the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. A 350+ bed hospital serving a 17-county area in Northeast Georgia, our NICU serves over 250 babies each year.
