Student Financial Aid 101: How to Pay for College at the Athens-Clarke County Library

Want to go to college, but have no idea how financially do so? Join us for Student Financial Aid 101: How to Pay for College at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Tuesday, February 9. The financial aspect of college can be daunting for everyone. In this session, Brenda Vaughn will explain how to complete the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), the eligibility requirements for the HOPE Scholarship and other valuable resources that can help you pay for a college education.

It's never too early or too late to prepare for college. Whether you are a middle schooler looking to get ahead or an adult returning to college to complete your degree, this session is for you.

Student Financial Aid 101 will begin at 6 p.m. and is free and open to the public. The session is open to anyone interested in attending college. For more information, call (706) 613-3650, ext. 329. The Athens-Clarke County Library is located at 2025 Baxter Street, Athens.
