'I Seek Dead People' Teen Genealogy Program

Think genealogy research is just for adults? Wrong! Join us for a special teen program, "I Seek Dead People: A Teen's Intro to Genealogy," at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Wednesday, February 3, beginning at 4:30 p.m.

Teens will have the tools to answer the question, "where do I come from," after attending this program. A Heritage Room librarian will be on hand to teach teens all the basic ins and outs of genealogy and searching for ancestors. They will also be able to answer any questions teens might have about starting and continuing their search after the workshop.

The workshop is open to all teens ages 11 to 18 and does not require registration. For more
