Special Story Time with Author Henry Cole: THE SOMEWHAT TRUE ADVENTURES OF SAMMY SHINE

Avid Bookshop will host a special story time with author Henry Cole on Saturday, February 20, 2016, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. There is no admission charge.

ABOUT THE BOOK: 

The Somewhat True Adventures of Sammy Shine is a charming, warm adventure story of a pet mouse named Sammy Shine who gets sent up into a remote control airplane, crashes into the woods, and forms a rat-tag team of woodland creatures to locate and fix his damaged plane so he can fly home.

ABOUT THE AUTHORL/ILLUSTRATOR: 

Henry Cole is the celebrated illustrator of many books for children, including the Bad Boys series by Margie Palatini, and is also the author and illustrator of the novel A Nest for Celeste.
