Journey Through the Stars for Families at SCNC

Join us for our planetarium program in the Sky Center. We will journey through the night sky, exploring the great beyond.

AGES: For families (ages 4 and up please)

DATES: Saturdays
SEPTEMBER 19: "Navigating the Skies:" Stars are the original GPS. Learn how sailors used the starry night sky to help navigate their way around the world;

OCTOBER 17: "Mythical Beasts:" Unicorns, Dragons and a Hydra, OH MY! Many of the known constellations are mythical creatures. Learn about their origins and how to recognize them in the sky;

NOVEMBER 21: "A is for Asteroids:" We'll go from A to Z exploring the sky. How many astronomical features can we find for each letter of the alphabet?

TIME: 10:00 - 11:00 a.m.
FEE: $7 ACC resident family; $10 Non-resident family per program. Pre-registration required one day before program.
