Circle Ensemble Theatre Company presents TeensPlay

The Circle Ensemble Theatre Company's TeensPlay program helps teens express themselves while developing empathy, social skills, and self-confidence.  Day one of the workshop begins by creating an ensemble with the group so they have a safe place in which to explore. Writing prompts and play structures are explored and then the teens create their own short plays with a partner.  The second day of the workshop the teens rehearse each other's plays with a Circle director, and then end with a performance open to family and friends.  The teens are shepherded through the whole process by one of Circle's professional theater artists. Thanks to a generous granting partner, Circle and the State Botanical Gardens are able to offer this program at the much reduced price of $5.00 per participant.
