Athens native Fred Birchmore was always ready to begin his next adventure! Fred , who passed away in April 2012 at age 100, was a world traveler, adventurer, sportsman, author, naturalist, historian, builder of the Great Wall of Happy Hollow and member for nearly 80 years of the Kiwanis Club of Athens, GA. His parting wish to all was always "Until we see each other again, may good health and happiness go with you for the rest of your journey through life on God's beautiful spaceship Earth."
