'Sounds of Summer' concert series

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department presents the inaugural "Sounds of Summer" concert series at the beach at Sandy Creek Park.

As part of "July is National Park and Recreation Month," a special series of concerts will take place by Lake Chapman.

• The admission fee is $5 per vehicle and includes park admission starting at 5:00 p.m. Sandy Creek Park annual permits will not be accepted.

• Opening acts begin at 6:00 p.m.; headliners at 7:00 p.m.

• Food vendors will be on site.

• Please remember alcohol and smoking are not permitted in the park. Blankets and chairs welcome
