St. Mary's Benefit Concert on the Lawn

St. Mary's Auxiliary invites everyone who loves live music to its first-ever Concert on the Lawn, featuring The Grains of Sand, on Aug. 3 at Ashford Manor in downtown Watkinsville.

Gates will open at 5:30 p.m. for this special, one-night only performance, with music from 7-9 p.m. The Grains of Sand features eight fine musicians who play a selection of Beach, Soul and Motown hits. It's sure to be a fun night, whether you love to get up and dance or just relax under the stars. In case of inclement weather, the concert will be held on Aug. 4.

Guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs, picnic dinners, and beverages of choice to enjoy the fun summer night. The grounds will be complete with terraced lawns, candles, and Tiki torches. Ample free parking is available at Ashford Manor, located at 5 Harden Hill Road, Watkinsville, and nearby.

St. Mary's Auxiliary works to support the mission, values and services of St. Mary's Health Care System. Key programs include bringing coffee, flowers and reading material to patient rooms; providing patients and visitors with information and escorts to appointments; operating a gift shop and free-standing thrift store, and conducting fundraisers that enhance St. Mary's technologies and services.

Advance tickets are now on sale: $15 for adults, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under age 6. Tickets at the gate will be the same price as advance tickets. Online ticket sales are now open at http://bit.ly/ConcertOnTheLawn. All ticket prices include taxes.
