Richard Gnann performs at the ACC Library

Richard Gnann will share his music at the Athens-Clarke County Library on Thursday, June 18, at 10:30 a.m.! Gnann's performance is a part of the continuing summer reading performance series.

Richard will have kids tapping their toes and wiggling and giggling as they sing along to his tunes. Previously a children's librarian in Winder, Gnann knows just how to create excitement for reading with original songs and stories.

This year's Summer Reading Program theme is "Every Hero has A Story." Summer reading encourages readers of all ages to continue their reading throughout the warm summer months. Programs are very helpful for younger children to stay on track or get ahead with their reading skills for school.

The performance is free and open to the public. Summer reading performances will continue throughout the summer on Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. Brochures are available at the Children's Department with a full schedule of summer reading programming. For more information, call (706) 613-3650, ext. 314. The Athens-Clarke County Library is located at 2025 Baxter Street, Athens.
