Playing it Safe with Animals: A Community Seminar for Kids and Families

Parents and school age kids are invited to join us for a fun community program designed to keep children and families safe around pets! Research shows that children ages 5 to 9 have the highest dog bite incidences of any age group. Teaching children and families about proper behavior around dogs and other pets is essential to keeping everyone safe! Participants will learn how our pets "talk" to their humans and learn the information they need to make safe choices around animals to maintain a positive relationships. Participants will even get to practice on our own HSNEGA Adoption animals and tour our Adoption Center.

To register, or for more information call our Community Outreach Department at 770) 532-6617 or email KelleyUber@HSNEGA.org. A $3 Donation per person to support the animals of the Humane Society of Northeast Georgia is appreciated.
