Frog Hop 5K Road Race

Sandy Creek Nature Center, Inc. will present the 16th Annual Frog Hop 5K Road Race on Sunday, February 15.

Make plans to run or walk this 5K and 1 mile Tadpole Fun Run. The Tadpole Fun Run starts at 2 p.m., with the challenging 5K Frog Hop starting at 2:30 p.m. Both events take place at Sandy Creek Nature Center at 205 Old Commerce Road.

This event benefits Sandy Creek Nature Center Inc., the non-profit support organization which founded the nature center over 40 years ago. SCNC, Inc. now works with Athens Clarke County Leisure Services in support of the environmental education and natural resources preservation efforts of the Nature Center.

The pre-registration fee for either race is $20 per person, $60 for families of four. After February 5 the fee is $25 per person and t-shirts are not guaranteed. The no-shirt option is $17 by February 5.
