River Rendezvous

Sandy Creek Nature Center and the Upper Oconee Watershed Network (UOWN) will host River Rendezvous. This event gives a snap shot of the health of the waterways in our area. After a brief orientation complete with light breakfast and coffee, volunteers will go to various stream sites to collect samples. No experience needed, just dress to get wet and dirty. Children's activities will be ongoing from 10:00 am-1:00 p.m. to help them understand the importance of keeping our water clean.
