Hispanic Heritage Month

Join the Athens-Clarke County Library's Teen Department on Wednesday, October 15, as they celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. in Multipurpose Room A. Teens ages 11 to 18 are invited to celebrate with refreshments and activities and will even decorate sugar skulls.

Each year since 1988, the United States has celebrated National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15 to October 15, by celebrating the histories, cultures and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America.
