Family Fun Days at The Rock Ranch

Girl on a zip lineVisitors can enjoy zip lines, hay rides, Tiny Town (a village of themed playhouses), a locomotive train, a petting zoo, paddle boats, pumpkin cannon, pony rides, cane pole fishing, carousel, live bands, special events, and more. Special event day themes this year include "Hats off to Heroes," "Lumberjack Day", Georgia's official "Day of the Cowboy," Hot Air Balloon Rally, "Not So Spooky" Halloween Fest, Pumpkin Destruction Day, "Great Outdoor Adventure," and Farm Heritage Day.

Note: Location is 2 hours from downtown Athens

The Rock Ranch also offers the challenge of navigating a corn field maze. This year's corn maze celebrates 75 Years of Wizard of Oz, the movie, and it features the likeness of Dorothy, Toto, The Scarecrow, The Cowardly Lion and The Tin Man. Guests can also have their photos taken with costumed, real-life characters from Wizard of Oz.

The Rock Ranch is open each Saturday beginning Sept. 27 to Nov. 15, from 10 a.m. – 8 p.m. Admission is $15. Children three and under are free. Season passes can also be purchased for $39.50. On September 27th, all public, private, or home school teachers with a valid school ID or proof of home school status will receive "bounce-back" passes for up to 4 paying guests to revisit The Rock Ranch on any of the following Fall Family Fun Days. This same offer is available to law enforcement personnel and first responders with proper identification. Tickets are sold online ( www.TheRockRanch.com ) or at the gate, and two-dollar discount coupons are available at Chick-fil-A locations. Admission is half price with a military ID.

September 27 – Hats off to Heroes
- Trucks, Helicopters, Bulldozers, Fire Trucks, EMS, Police,
Sheriff, Forestry - Families will enjoy displays and
equipment from these and more community heroes
- Public servants in law enforcement, fire, EMS and related
fields will receive a free "bounce back" pass (up to 4
paying guests)with professional service badge or ID
- Teachers and Home School Educators will receive a free
"bounce back" pass (up to 4 paying guests) per school ID
or proof of homeschool status
- Military families are half-off with military ID (this week
and every Saturday in the fall)
- The Rock Ranch annual corn maze opens. This year's maze theme celebrates 75 Years of Wizard of

- Families can watch their favorite college football team on big screens in the climate controlled
comfort of Truett's Barn (this week and every Saturday in the fall)
