7th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival,

The Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre will host the 7th Annual Atlanta Smooth Music Festival,on Saturday, September 13, 2014. The day long music festival will include performances by international and national smooth jazz recording artists. Saxophonist Kim Waters, bass guitarist Gerald Veasley, keyboardist Gregg Karukas, trumpeter Cindy Bradley, saxophonist LeBron, and Atlanta guitarist 2unes are scheduled to appear.

"Our goal with the festival is to present a variety of smooth jazz artists." Said Joe Cleveland, Managing Partner of Jazz Grooves. Past performers at the festival have included a virtual Who's Who in smooth jazz, along with rising artists. In the latter years, the producers have added a local musician. "The metro area has so much talent. Local talent getting the chance to share the stage with world renown artists, can be a dream for them." Cleveland added.

The Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre has been home to the festival from the beginning. Located in south Cobb county, just outside Atlanta, the Mable House can accommodate over 2400 guests. "There's nothing like it." Said Robby Edwards, Technical Director at the Mable House. "Guests can enjoy a performance under cover or on the lawn. We welcome guests to bring their own picnics to enjoy their event."

"We want it to be a weekend event." Cleveland added. "We chose the Renaissance Waverly Hotel as the host hotel. It fits the festival." The Renaissance Waverly Hotel is offering packages inclusive of upgraded accommodations, festival tickets, and breakfast.

"We live in Atlanta. My brother who lives in Florida, told us about the festival the first year." said festival goer Brenda Young Haithco. "We've been going every year since. Our party has grown from four to 20 people." The Atlanta Smooth Music Festival is a premier music experience for smooth jazz fans.
