Oconee Youth Playhouse stages The Addams Family (school edition)

Oconee Youth Playhouse will stage The Addams Family, a zany musical comedy based on the ghoulish cartoon characters created by Charles Addams, on Oct. 27 and Oct. 29-30, with three evening shows at 7:30, plus a Sunday matinee at 3 p.m. The cast, drawn from 12 area schools, is mainly composed of high school and middle school students.

The show is directed by Terra and Shane Hannon and will be presented in the Oconee Youth Theater, 1050 Jamestown Blvd. in Watkinsville. Tickets are $20 for adults/seniors, $15 for students and can be purchased from the OYP website (oconeeyouthplayhouse.com).
