Morton Theatre Corporation Presents: Black Panther

The Athens-Clarke County community is invited to experience the joy of Black creativity at the historic Morton Theatre with a screening of the award-winning film “Black Panther” on June 5 at 3 p.m.

The event is an opportunity for diverse community members to become (re)acquainted with the Morton and honor the space’s Black entertainment history through Black filmmaking.
The film screening is free and open to the public, and tickets are available at the link below. Donations to the Morton Theatre Corporation will be accepted.

Popcorn, water bottles and soda in commemorative Morton Theatre cups will be sold with proceeds benefiting MTC. Attendees are strongly encouraged to come dressed in their best Wakanda-inspired outfits or costumes for a photo op at the Theatre
