Buster Undercover Book Bash with Caleb Zane Huett and David Levithan

Avid Bookshop is honored to host our dear friend (and former Avid Bookshop manager!) Caleb Zane Huett for a book launch event for Buster Undercover. This virtual author event will take place on Thursday, March 3, 2022, from 7pm - 8pm ET via Zoom. Caleb will be in conversation with with his editor--author David Levithan himself!

BUT WAIT! WOOF! THERE'S MORE!

Pre-orders of Buster Undercover will come with a special bonus: an original art print by Olivia When! The print will be postcard-sized and feature a scene from the Buster world. These will only be given out with pre-orders from Avid Bookshop, so don't miss your chance. Olivia When is an incredible animator and illustrator " you've probably seen her work before on the Google homepage. She draws the cutest dogs, and we can't wait for you to see what she's made for the Buster Undercover launch!

ABOUT THE FEATURED BOOK:

Humor and heart come unleashed in this adventure about a boy living with anxiety who must join with his therapy dog to save dogkind from a dog-hating secret agent.

Tonio is not allowed to let anyone know that he can communicate fluently with his therapy dog, Buster. But when dogkind requires that Tonio make friends with a bully, are Tonio and Buster going to go through a ruff patch...or learn some new tricks to keep the dogs in their town safe?

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:

Caleb Zane Huett is a tabletop gamemaster, former bookseller, and definitely not a dog with a pen name. He’s a graduate of the University of Georgia, and he’s really good at trading card games. Eight different dogs have protected him throughout the years, and he currently has two cats who are furious they weren’t featured in this book. You can find him at calebzanehuett.com.
