Athens Flute Choir performs Peter and the Wolf

The Athens Flute Choir's Fall concert will feature Sergei Prokofiev's fanciful fairy tale "Peter and the Wolf", selections from "Carnival of the Animals" by Camille Saint-Saëns, and "Fur on Wheels" a jazz influenced, free-form work with improvisation written and arranged for flute choir by Athens composer, Jayna Nelson and inspired by her cats. The Athens Flute Choir is a non-profit community music ensemble dedicated to the enrichment of Athens and the surrounding areas through music performance.
