Indie Craft Parade

Join us for the 10th Annual Indie Craft Parade, a curated makers' market that brings together some of the South's best handmade talent. Held each September, this festival helps fulfill our mission of creating a supportive community around artists by connecting them with the public and encouraging a renewed appreciation for quality handmade goods.

Friday kicks off the weekend with the First Dibs Party which includes a relaxed shopping atmosphere, live music, complimentary drinks and the chance to win incredible giveaways (advanced tickets needed; $25 per ticket). The festival on Saturday and Sunday is a $6 admission fee, and kids age 12 and under are admitted free. This includes access to the makers' market, local food vendors, a free photo booth and an introduction to artists from all around the South. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.

All Southern makers and artists are invited to submit their work as application on the website, https://www.eventslocal.com/events/indie-craft-parade during the call for entry submission period from June 1-20, 2019. Around 100 artists will be selected by an experienced and accomplished jury panel. This year's jury includes, Annie Koelle, Allison & Jamie Nadeau from Ink Meets Paper, Phil Sanders from Citizen Supply and Erica Tuomi from Willowvane.

The Indie Craft Parade celebrates the resurgence of handmade goods throughout the South to highlight the care necessary to craft things by hand and to encourage small, local brands. We hope to see you there!
