Dixieland Five to Perform at the ACC Library

Help the Athens-Clarke County Library welcome Dixieland Five on Sunday, June 1, at 3:00 p.m. in the Appleton Auditorium. Dixieland Five is a traditional jazz and Dixieland band that features a front line of trumpet, clarinet and trombone and a rhythm section of piano and tenor banjo. They play jazz styles of the early 20th century that came from New Orleans and then spread across the country and around the world.

The performance is the latest installment of the Live! @the Library concert series, a monthly event sponsored by the Friends of the Athens-Clarke County Library.
