'Owl Prowl' at Sandy Creek Nature Center

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department will present two "Owl Prowls" in January.

"Owl Prowl" at Sandy Creek Nature Center, located at 205 Old Commerce Road, is planned for Friday, January 18 from 7:00 – 8:30 p.m.   This program is for ages 13 and older.

Participants will learn about these feathered nocturnal animals and search for owls that inhabit the woods during an evening hike.  Everyone is encouraged to bring a flashlight.

The program fee is $2 for an Athens-Clarke County resident and $3 for a non-Athens-Clarke County resident.  Online registration is underway at www.accgov.com/leisure by clicking on the "Nature" tab.
