Description: It's time to carry the banner with Athens Creative Theatres production of Newsies the Musical. Newsies is a rousing tale of Jack Kelly, the charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged "newsies". When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboys' expense, Jack rallies the newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what is right.
Tickets can be purchased at the Morton Theatre box office (195 W. Washington Street) by calling 706-613-3771 or shopping online at www.mortontheatre.com. Tickets go on sale October 1st.
Location: Morton Theatre (195 W. Washington Street, Athens, GA 30601)
Times: Thursday-Saturday at 7:30pm, Saturday matinee at 2:00pm, and Sunday matinee at 3:00pm
Cost: $15 Adult; $12 Student, Senior, and Children; $10 each for groups of 10 or more.
