Sandy Creek Nature Center Closed

Education and Visitor Center at Sandy Creek Nature Center to Temporarily Close for Maintenance

The Athens-Clarke County Leisure Services Department announces that the Education and Visitor Center at Sandy Creek Nature Center will be temporarily closed to the public Wednesday, August 15-Friday, August 17. Staff will be conducting maintenance and painting in the exhibit hall and reception area. The building will re-open on Saturday, August 18 at 8:30 a.m.

Trails and the property will be open as usual during this period and the exterior restroom and water fountains at the back of the building will be available to visitors.
