Oconee Youth Playhouse presents NEWSIES
Oconee Youth Playhouse presents NEWSIES, the Disney film turned Broadway hit musical, Aug. 10-12 and 17-19 at the Oconee County Civic Center. The cast is composed primarily of local high school students. The musical is based on the true story of a charismatic newsboy who organized a strike in 1899 in New York City to protest unfair working conditions. Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for students/seniors, and $10 for age 12 and under and will be sold in the lobby of the Civic Center starting an hour before each performance. Cash or check only.
