ABOUT THE BOOK:

Peter is a dreamer, and with just the right stick, he imagines all sorts of exciting games and adventures. Sometimes his imagination gets him into trouble, however. While he is inventing new games, he often completely forgets the world around him. Not many friends or grownups understand Peter's stick play, and people notice that he is different from other children his age. Although school is not always a good place for sticks, this school year begins with a pleasant surprise for Peter!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR: 

Elizabeth Connell Lewis has been a teacher, writer and Gifted Education specialist for 25 years. She is also the mother of 4 highly creative children, whose gifts were not always appreciated or nurtured in school. Under the name 'Nurturing Potential' she has bundled her experience and stories in various presentations and books, hoping to inspire learners of all ages to embrace their unique gifts and develop their talents!
