Project F.R.E.E. (Fostering Relationships and Economic Enrichment) is a University of Georgia campus-community partnership that is creating positive homes for children across Northeast Georgia. We provide evidence-informed programs and services that promote healthy relationships and financial capability.
Two courses are offered free of charge to eligible participants. Elevate and Together We Can. Our Elevate program works off the principle that healthy couple relationships lead to more positive parenting and better outcomes for children. Elevate is a relationship and marriage (RME-not therapy) education program that teaches principles and skills that parents can use to better manage stress and conflict and improve their relationships. This program is for anyone is a couple relationship, married or not. Together We Can works off the principle that children do best when parents work together whether they are in a couple relationship or not. This course is specifically designed to help unmarried and single parents find ways to manage the challenges associated with parenting together even though they may not be in a relationship with one another. Graduates of this course have the opportunity to participate in our Discovering Money Solutions course which help fosters economic stability.
