Nic Stone hosts Black Girls Reading: A Writing Workshop

Avid Bookshop presents the second "Black Girls Reading: A Writing Workshop," hosted by Nic Stone, author of DEAR MARTIN. This event will take place on Sunday, April 15, 2018, from 11am to 1pm at our Prince Ave. location. The event is open to the public and there is no admission charge!

This writing workshop is for any girl that is a writer, wants to be a writer, or loves to read! At the event, we will highlight black female authors and creators, and attendees will be encouraged to start or continue their own pieces of writing. Local literary experts will be on hand to host and help out! This event is geared towards young women of color, but everyone is welcome!
